Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, a massive glacial tongue extending from the Vatnajökull ice cap in Iceland, serves as the source for a mesmerizing natural spectacle. As the glacier descends towards lower elevations, it gives rise to the renowned Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. This stunning glacial lagoon, surrounded by majestic ice formations, becomes the starting point for a captivating journey of icebergs towards the Atlantic Ocean.

The icebergs at Jökulsárlón, originating from Breiðamerkurjökull, gracefully float in the lagoon before gradually making their way towards the ocean. Carved by the dynamic forces of the glacier, these icebergs showcase a diverse array of shapes, sizes, and captivating shades of blue. The journey of these ice sculptures symbolizes the intricate relationship between the glacier and the surrounding environment.

As the icebergs navigate the short channel connecting Jökulsárlón to the Atlantic Ocean, they embark on a final voyage, carried by the current towards the open sea. Description

Glacier Ice with Moon is printed using traditional high-quality methods. It will be printed on Kodak’s Metallic Photographic paper.  I use this paper for most of my prints since I love the little glitter that it adds. Kodak’s Endura Metallic paper can put so much “pop” in your enlargements that they’ll look as if they were taken in 3D! The secret behind this amazing paper is literally behind the picture! Kodak has placed a silvery metallic surface under the dye image. This layer acts like a mirror, reflecting the light illuminating the front of the print back through the dyes. The result is a brilliant, almost translucent effect that can be far brighter than conventional enlargements. This paper is also stable in that it lasts 100 years in a typical home display, 200 years in dark storage and 1 to 5 years for commercial display (Quoted from Kodak’s Spec sheet). 

A variety of sizes or this print are available, so you can find the perfect fit for your home or office.
