In this captivating abstract close-up photograph, the weathered beauty of a decaying brick wall takes center stage, adorned with vibrant patches of bright green moss that breathes new life into the aged surface. The intricate textures and patterns of the bricks are brought into sharp focus, revealing the passage of time and the relentless forces of nature at work.

The bricks, weathered and worn by the elements, bear the scars of years of exposure to the elements, their surfaces marred by cracks, crevices, and layers of peeling paint. Yet, amidst the decay, bursts of vivid green moss emerge, adding a splash of color and vitality to the scene.

This image is printed on Kodak’s Professional Metallic paper. Prints on metallic paper look almost three dimensional, with color saturation that is unrivaled by any other paper on the market. They have a glitter to them that makes them seem as if they are printed on metal, not paper.

Description

Moss and Bricks is printed using traditional high-quality methods. It will be printed on Kodak’s Metallic Photographic paper.  I use this paper for most of my prints since I love the little glitter that it adds. Kodak’s Endura Metallic paper can put so much “pop” in your enlargements that they’ll look as if they were taken in 3D! The secret behind this amazing paper is literally behind the picture! Kodak has placed a silvery metallic surface under the dye image. This layer acts like a mirror, reflecting the light illuminating the front of the print back through the dyes. The result is a brilliant, almost translucent effect that can be far brighter than conventional enlargements. This paper is also stable in that it lasts 100 years in a typical home display, 200 years in dark storage and 1 to 5 years for commercial display (Quoted from Kodak’s Spec sheet). 

A variety of sizes or this print are available, so you can find the perfect fit for your home or office.
  • Prints are made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping. Many times, I get them out quicker.
