Strokkur Geyser, often referred to simply as Strokkur, is a renowned geothermal feature located in the Haukadalur Valley of southwestern Iceland. This area is referred to Little Strokkur.

The name “Strokkur” translates to “churn” in English, reflecting the churning motion of the water just before an eruption. Unlike its larger and less predictable neighbor, Geysir, which gave the term “geyser” its name, Strokkur’s reliability in erupting has made it a favorite among tourists and nature enthusiasts.
