Wagon Wheels in Snow
2017
Jackson, Wyoming

This captivating black and white photograph paints a nostalgic portrait of an old rustic wagon blanketed in a serene layer of snow. Stripped of color, the image accentuates the quiet and timeless beauty of winter.

As one gazes upon this black and white portrayal, there’s a sense of tranquility and a whisper of history in the air. The image not only captures a moment of winter beauty but also invites contemplation on the enduring charm of rustic elements against the pristine canvas of snow, creating a visual ode to the captivating allure of Jackson’s wintery landscapes.

Wagon Wheels in Snow is printed using traditional high-quality methods. It will be printed on Kodak’s Metallic Photographic paper. I use this paper for most of my prints since I love the little glitter that it adds. Kodak’s Endura Metallic paper can put so much “pop” in the enlargements that they’ll look as if they were taken in 3D! The secret behind this amazing paper is literally behind the picture! Kodak has placed a silvery metallic surface under the dye image. This layer acts like a mirror, reflecting the light illuminating the front of the print back through the dyes. The result is a brilliant, almost translucent effect that can be far brighter than conventional enlargements. This paper is also stable in that it lasts 100 years in a typical home display, 200 years in dark storage and 1 to 5 years for commercial display (Quoted from Kodak’s Spec sheet).

A variety of sizes or this print are available, so you can find the perfect fit for your home or office.
