The left building feels almost nostalgic, its soft peach tones and pale trim gently glowing, as if still holding onto a brighter past. Its windows, slightly uneven in personality, hint at stories lived behind drawn shades and half-lit rooms.

Beside it, the stone structure stands more solemn and worn, its tall vertical windows like watchful eyes. Darkened streaks run beneath them, evidence of years of rain, heat, and time pressing down—nature quietly reclaiming its mark.

The composition is beautifully divided yet unified—color against texture, warmth against restraint, preservation against decay. There’s a rhythm in the repetition of windows, but also a tension in their differences. It feels like a portrait of time itself: not dramatic, not loud, but deeply present in every crack, shadow, and sunlit surface.

It’s the kind of scene most people pass without noticing—but here, it becomes a study in contrast, endurance, and the quiet poetry of place.

Bring the warmth and richness of this image into your space with this timeless photograph from KimsVisions.com.

Macon Windows is printed using traditional high-quality methods. The secret behind this amazing paper is literally behind the picture! Kodak has placed a silvery metallic surface under the dye image. This layer acts like a mirror, reflecting the light illuminating the front of the print back through the dyes. The result is a brilliant, almost translucent effect that can be far brighter than conventional enlargements. This paper is also stable in that it lasts 100 years in a typical home display, 200 years in dark storage and 1 to 5 years for commercial display (Quoted from Kodak’s Spec sheet).

A variety of sizes of this print are available, so you can find the perfect fit for your home or office.

Prints are made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping.
